Our Managing Partner

Mary Anne Mayo, the managing member of the firm, received both a J.D. and a LL.M. in taxation from New York University, where she was an Articles Editor of the New York University Law Review, and an A.B., magna cum laude, in Fine Arts from Harvard College.  She is admitted to the bars of New York, the Southern and Eastern Districts of the New York Federal Courts, the U.S. Claims Court and the U.S. Tax Court.  Ms. Mayo is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.  She has authored a number of articles on federal and international tax topics.

Ms. Mayo’s experience covers both corporate transactional work and U.S. federal and international taxation.  She has extensive experience in law firm practice as both a corporate lawyer and a tax adviser in mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, private equity financing, negotiating and documenting domestic and international strategic alliances, complex contracts, and executive compensation.
